A loan of $500 helped to expand her business by purchasing more stock and bring in a higher profit.

Flavious's story

Flavious, a 20-year-old businesswoman, inspires other young women in her community through entrepreneurship and volunteerism. She lives in the Lupane District of Zimbabwe and owns a grocery shop where she sells food products such as cooking oil, sugar, salt, mealie meal, sweets and milk. Along with her successful business Flavious volunteers as a Learner Guide who leads students through the My Better World sessions, teaching life skills and overall wellbeing. Flavious has been running her business for the past year and would like a Kiva loan so she can expand her business by purchasing more stock and bring in a higher profit. With those additional profits she would like to better provide for her family and continue to help vulnerable children in her community.
