Ekome Feamo 3 Group's story

These women are part of the Ekome Feamo 3 Group, which consists of four women who all live in the same neighborhood and all perform different activities selling cooking utensils, plates, kettles, cutlery, flour, slippers, cooking oil and charcoal. The group meets once a week.

Leticia is the featured borrower for the group, and she is in her fourth loan cycle. She is active in trading cooking oil and slippers and is requesting the loan to buy more cooking oil and slippers for resale to customers.

She has over seven years experience, and with her income from this business she helps her husband to manage the family expenses and pay for her children's tuition fees. She wants to increase her stock in order to sell more in the neighborhood and to make more profit, so she can put some money into savings.

The group will need a total amount of GHS 3,200 to be able to serve customers better.
