A loan of $1,200 helped investment in basic products for her store, and to purchase clothes and footwear to sell.

Serapia Rosalia's story

Serapia has been selling for many years (approximately 20). A year and a half ago, she decided to open a shop where she sells sweets, chewing gum; foods like rice, beans, soup, sugar, ham, sodas, and more besides. She also sells clothes and footwear, and has realized the need to be innovative in her business.

For this reason, Serapia needs capital to be able to invest in both of her businesses, to meet the demands of her clients and to help her family get ahead.

Serapia has 6 children, and has given them education, a home, and taken care of their well-being. She has just one daughter left to provide with an education. Serapia's greatest wish is to see her daughter graduate and have a better life than she has had.

With the loan, she will extend her shop, because sometimes her clients ask for products which she does not have, and she realises that she needs capital to invest in her business.
