A loan of $1,075 helped to repair her churro cart and to buy supplies for her preparations.

Maria Nelcy's story

Perseverance and a good disposition are two values that now distinguish Maria from many other merchants. She lived in Huila for a long time. Upon seeing the few work opportunities in this place, she decided to move to the city of Medillín. She did this to look for new horizons and to be able to start a family.

She has now been working in the city of Medellín for over ten years approximately. She works with a cart making and transporting churros. She works every day from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. She says that she is very satisfied with the results that she has gotten so far. This is because she has been able to support her two minor children with this business. She has also been able to share the household expenses with her husband.

She is requesting a loan to repair the churro cart. It has some things that need repair. She also wishes to buy some supplies for her preparations.

The loan gives her the opportunity to improve her work and to have a better level of sales. The loan nurtures her dreams and improves her quality of life.
