A loan of $1,050 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business.

Genalyn's story

Genalyn is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy more grocery items needed in her variety store. She was also able to help and support her family. Her income from business meets her everyday needs and expenses. She continues to work hard to provide for her daily expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 45,000 PHP loan for her to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages and other products to add in her current inventory. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result for better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help her to meet her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness.

Genalyn hopes that her business will become stable and dreams to have a better future. She meets weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week and draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay micro-finance loans.
