A loan of $975 helped to pay costs connected with her daughter's college graduation.

Lilia's story

Lilia lives with her children in Vanadzor city in the Lori region. She has a daughter and two sons. Her elder son works in the Russian Federation and from there, he transfers money for his family and greatly supports them financially. Lilia’s younger son is disabled. Her daughter is in her last year of studying at the economics college. Lilia works very hard as a cleaner to sustain her family needs. Her husband died several years ago during liberation fights in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Despite being alone with many hardships, Lilia tries to overcome and solve her family’s problems.
She asks for this loan since her daughter is graduating from her college and there are a lot of costs connected with it. She also dreams for her daughter to continue her education and have a higher degree. So she wants her to attend private courses and become a highly knowledgeable economist.
