A loan of $500 helped a member to buy fertilizers and pay for labor for her farmland.

Bunna's Group's story

Bunna is aged 32 years and married with four dependent children. She lives in a rural village of the Kampong Cham province’s Dambae district. She earns a living through growing cassava. Together, they can earn about KHR 80,000 per day from the current business and can save about KHR 40,000 each day for future needs.

This is Bunna’s group loan with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. Bunna has been a member of VisionFund for three cycles. She successfully used the loans to better her living condition.

Now leading her group to apply for a loan, Bunna will use her portion to buy fertilizers and use a portion of it to spend for labor. She hopes to grow more rice and sell it for a good price so as to make a living better.
