Sarah's story

Sarah is 29 years old and married with two children. She runs a retail business in OIC Ropolo, in Sierra Leone. She started her business to be self-reliant.

Sarah has been in this business since 2007, and sells slippers within a busy market area. Her business is the only source of income she has. She says that the main challenge to her business is that sometimes business is slow.

Sarah requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchases more slippers for resale. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her welfare and increase her business. In the future, she would like to expand her business more than ever.
