Jacel is 20 years old and is the youngest of three children in her family. Her mother Lila supports the family through her general store business in the Philippines.
Jacel is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and is currently in the third year of this 4-year course. Jacel is borrowing 20,000 PHP to pay for tuition fees for the first semester of the 2014-15 school year. When she graduates, Jacel plans to be gainfully employed.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
