Ariel is 25 years old, single and lives with his parents in the Ventanas canton of the Los Ríos province of Ecuador.
Ariel is a member of the "Ciudad de Pueblo Viejo" communal bank, located in the town of Pueblo Viejo. The group has ten members from the same city, and who all work in farming and raising animals.
Ariel makes a living sowing corn. He is applying for this loan in order to buy farming supplies in Ventanas. Ariel's goal is to buy his own land; one challenge he is facing is transport. In his free time, Ariel likes to go out walking.
