A loan of $125 helped to purchase green vegetables, fruits, tomatoes, potatoes and onions.

Chari's story

Chari is a married woman with seven children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For over two years, she has operated a fruits and vegetable stall business, selling from home to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her place of operation. She dreams of establishing a grocery store in the future.

With the loan, she wants to purchase stock of green vegetables, fruits, tomatoes, potatoes and onions. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
