A loan of $2,350 helped a member they need increased capital to buy raw materials.

Margaritas Group's story

Hand-knitting of sweaters, coats and shawls for adults and children is one of the most widespread activities within the “Margaritas” Association, who work in the municipal center of the province of Germán Busch. In addition to knitting, some also work at machine embroidery, producing unique designs that are used on clothing. All married, they have found in Pro-Mujer the opportunity to create small businesses that allow them to earn enough to provide for their families’ daily needs.

The Margaritas Association would like to expand their sales in order to obtain higher earnings, and for this they need more capital to buy raw materials.
