A loan of $850 helped to buy more auto parts for motorbikes and cars to expand her sales.

Cecelia's story

Cecelia is 30 years old and a high school graduate. She has two children aged 10 and 12 who are in school and live at home. Cecelia is running an auto parts shop in the area of Bardnersivlle where she lives. It is one of the early communities in Liberia that is well-known. She has been running this business for the past five years. She makes lots of profit since she sells quality auto parts for motor bikes and cars. She started this business by selling for her mother, who gives her little money. She sells from Monday to Saturday, spending ten hours on her business. Her profits are used for feeding, school fees, and to improve her savings account.

A problem she faces is slow buying during the rainy season. She is requesting a loan to buy more auto parts for motorbikes and cars to expand her sales. Her plan is to expand her business, build a house and educate her children. She thanks Kiva for their support.
