Eve's story

Eve is 25 years old and single with two children. Her last grade attended is grade eight. Her first child is four years old and the last child is one years old. One of her children is in school and the other is not in school due to reasons best known to her. Eve sells underwear, slippers, grease powder and children's clothes. She has been in this business for seven years. She wants the loan to add to her business. She will buy slippers, clothespins, grease powder and children's clothes. She sells10 hours per day and she transports her supplies by taxi to her business. She started this business from a very small business given to her on a table. Her mother taught her how to do business. She likes her business because it is profitable. She is so proud of her business because she is earning her own money. Her future plan is to extend her business and to give her children a good education. She says thanks to Kiva and BRAC for making her a good businesswoman.
