A loan of $425 helped a member to buy fertilizers and seeds for her cassava.

Vanna Khem's Group's story

Vanna, 43, lives with her husband and two children in a rural village of the Dambae district in Cambodia. One of her two children is still in school. To feed the family, Vanna and her husband earn a living as farmers who have been growing cassava for 25 years, earning about 26,000KHR per day to spend on the family’s needs. To supplement the income, Vanna also sells grocery items.

This is Vanna’s group with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. Now she is leading her group to ask for a loan to buy fertilizers and seeds for her cassava. She hopes to make more income from her agribusiness.
