Rosalie's house was destroyed by Super Typhoon Haiyan which swept through the Philippines last November 8, 2013. She restarted her fish-vending business and is committed to regain what she lost. Rosalie is taking out a 5,500 PHP housing loan through NWTF to purchase building materials and to pay for construction labor to build her a house for her family.
Rosalie has been with NWTF since 2008 in her pursuit to rise out of poverty. With your help, she will be able to start once more in a new home. In the future, Rosalie would like to save money to expand her business.

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
