Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $400 helped to buy a refrigerator.

Neysi Nanci's story

El Jicaral is a small town with entrepreneurial people that wish to get ahead in life. This is where Neysi Nanci lives.

She is 22 years old and does not have children to take care of. She pays for her personal expenses with the little she earns.

She has worked for three years at city hall as a promoter. Currently, her wish is to improve her living conditions.

She is glad to be employed, but her salary is not enough to improve her living conditions. This is why she took the decision to ask Kiva and Ceprodel for a small loan to buy a refrigerator, which would improve her living conditions.

She considers that this would be of great importance, as it would allow her to better maintain the food that her and her mom (who lives with her) consume.

She hopes that God will allow her to continue receiving the privilege of Kiva loans, as they help her a lot.
