Nueva Esperanzita Group's story

Miguel, 28, is married and has two children. He lives with his family in a village that belongs to the Gracias, Lempira municipality. He has always made a living cultivating basic grains such as corn, beans, and coffee. His coffee crop is the strongest it's been in eight years, and he sells it in the local market.

The loan his is requesting is his second cycle and it is for 3,500 HNL. With the loan, he will buy manure to fertilize his coffee crop so he can have a better harvest and income.

The loan comes in the form of a group loan with Nueva Esperanzita. It is comprised of seven members who all work in agriculture and live in the same area. The loan is for 27,500 HNL to fertilize their coffee crops.
