Sajida's story

Sajida Baji is married to M. A. and lives in a town called Kot Radha Kishan located 40 km from the city of Kasur, Pakistan. Sajida Baji owns a two-room brick house and has been living in it for the last 15 years. She is the mother of four children: two sons and two daughters. Sajida Baji’s husband earns income selling milk - it is a business that he has been in for the last 50 years. He makes about US$5 to US$6 per day. Sajida Baji is a housewife and sews clothes for her neighbors to earn extra income for the family. She is now applying for a loan to buy another buffalo for her husband’s milk sales business.
