Rohat's story

Rohat O. was born in 1956, she is married and has four children. Rohat started her own business selling slippers and has been doing it for thirteen years now. She sells women's clothing on the Muboriz market of the Gissar region. In her assortment of inventory there are pull-overs, tank-tops, undergarments, socks and handkerchiefs. There are also women's shoes and a large variety of slippers. With the arrival of autumn the demand for pull-overs and slippers grows. Rohat wants to update her inventory, increase circulation and make more profits. She buys the merchandise on the wholesale market Korvon and from suppliers from China. Rohat wants to receive a loan with the help of Kiva for the amount of 4000 somoni (USD$1,200) to buy slippers.
