A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase pants, blouses and shirts.

Denny Alfonso's story

The Santa Narcisa credit group meets every two weeks in the San Agustín neighborhood in the city of Manta, a city known for its beautiful beaches which are popular with visitors year round and for being a city of unequaled beauty with many tourist attractions. In this place lives Denny. He is 48 years old, separated and has two adult children who are independent. Denny is a hard-working man who likes to get ahead through honest work. He works selling seasonal things since they sell more quickly and increase his earnings. He sells clothing, shoes, and undergarments, among other products. He does this as a street vendor, going around the city offering his products. He works every day and almost the entire day. He has done this for over four years, and with this, gets ahead. He will use this loan to purchase pants, blouses, and shirts. He has been a part of the credit group for the past 3 years and he likes it because, through it, he finances his business. His dream is to have a shop.
