Ramiro's story

Ramiro is 34 years old. He lives with his wife and his young son in the small village of Inguer, a rural area of the Querocotillo district. It is a peaceful community that is dedicated to farming, trade, and raising livestock, and which is located in the province of Cutervo of the Cajamarca region in the northern highlands of Perú. Ramiro's livelihood is in the purchase, rearing, and sale of livestock, which he has been doing for 10 years. He has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternative of $1,075 (3,000 PEN) to purchase cattle so that he can offer it at a higher price in order to generate more income for his family.
