Abdullah's story

Abdullah is a 24-year-old single man who lives with his family in Mokala, Yemen. He studied till elementary school. Due to the miserable condition of his family, he couldn't complete his studies. Abdullah is a very active and dynamic person. In order to improve the condition of his family, Abdullah decided to buy fish to sell in the fish market in Mokala. He has worked in this business for 12 years. This business is the sole income source for the family. Abdullah finds this business is profitable for him, but most of what he earns goes to the expenses of the family. Abdullah applied for a loan of 98,000 Yemeni rials from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank in order to purchase more fishes to sell to the customers.
