Gerevasio is a forty-year-old hardworking married man living in Kamwenge, Uganda. He deals in produce selling as his main source of income though he has other side businesses like a wholesale bar where he earns an extra income. He started this business to sustain his family and have a better standard of living. He faces challenges of competition and weather changes that affect his produce business. He has a vision of owning a big modern produce store in some years to come.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
