Sanaa's story

Sanaa is a 48-year-old married mother of four. Her husband is employed in a cardboard factory, and they both work hard to provide for their children. Eight years ago, Sanaa established her own shop that sells undergarments. She gained the skills to start her business from a friend working in the same field, and so far her business has been able to provide extra income for her family.

Sanaa is a hard worker who has successfully paid off four previous loans that have helped her grow her business. She's acquired a new loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua to complete some needed repairs for her shop and increase her merchandise for the upcoming busy summer months.
