Diala is a 35-year-old single woman and a souvenir craftswoman. She has been in the souvenir-making business for the last eight years, and her quality of work is known all around her neighborhood. The income she makes from her work has been able to provide her with most of what she needs, yet she lacks the capital to complete renovations on her house.

Thus Diala acquired a loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua in order to pay some of her family’s house needs.

Today her acquired loan will be used to buy requested housewares.

Diala hopes to open a small gallery to display and sell her crafts.
