A loan helped to buy farming supplies and pay for labor.

Natividad's story

Natividad is 56 years old. She did not study since the place where she grew up did not have a school. Natividad devotes her time to working with rope (making hammocks). She is married and her husband is a farmer. They are the parents of three daughters. One is married and the other two are single.

Natividad has 25 years of experience in making hammocks. She learned this type of work from her parents. Natividad decided to pursue this business because she is able to generate an income from this work. She performs her work at home, which also allows her to complete the chores.

The loan she is requesting from CrediCampo will be used to buy farming supplies. For this season, these supplies will be used for a cornfield. She will buy five sacks of fertilizers, two bags of seeds, and insecticides. In addition, she will pay for labor.

In the future, she wants her corn crop to result in a good yield at harvest time. This will allow her to feed her family and provide a good diet for her children. She will also be able to sell part of her harvest so that she can earn some income for her daughters’ clothing expenses.
