A loan of $550 helped to pay for recyclable materials needed in her business.

Myrna's story

Myrna was very thankful for the assistance given to her. She previously accessed a PHP 22,000 loan that she used to purchase scrap materials needed in her business. Her profits were a big help in the education of her children and in her personal, household, and business expenditures.

To help her continue operations of her business, Myrna is requesting another loan, in the amount of PHP 24,000. She will be incorporating the loan on her current revolving fund used to buy scrap and recyclable materials. Her earnings from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Myrna hopes to gain more profits from her business and dreams to see her children succeed. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship members* to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All Center for Community Transformation (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
