A loan of $400 helped to care for his coffee crop.

Marcos's story

Marcos, 56, lives in the town of San Antonio Palopó, in the department of Sololá. He has 5 children; 3 are already married and 2 still live at home. They work in artisan crafts, growing onions, and cultivating coffee. He also works in a chalet that is located on the edge of the lake. He sells his products by going from town to town.

Marcos needs a loan of 3000 Quetzals to buy inputs to help him care for his coffee crop. He plans to make improvements to his home.
