Adama's story

Meet Adama; she is 36 years old from Magburaka, Northern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with five children. In 2009, Adama established her local food business. She began her business because she wanted to generate a permanent source of income to support her home. She works at the business eleven hours per day, six days per week. She says that her business is doing well.

Adama requires a loan in order to purchase more bags of beans, native rice and groundnuts for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to take care of her family's welfare and increase her business. In the future, Adama plans to expand her business more than even.
