A loan of $925 helped to purchase bags of rice, cartons of salt, drinks, and sugar to expand her business.

Mabinty's story

Meet Mabinty. She is at late forties-year-old from OIC Ropolo, Makeni Northern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with three children. In 1999, Mabinty established her retail business. She began her business because she wants to create a means of survival. She works at the business 13 hours per day and six days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is price inflation and poor road network; the road is dusty and some customers avoid it so sales are slow.

Mabinty requires a loan in order to purchase bags of rice, cartons of salt, drinks, and sugar to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to pay school fees for her children and increase her business. In the future, Mabinty plans to expand her business more than ever. She thanks you for your support.
