Sofia Del Socorro's story

Sofía is 38 years old, married and lives in her home with her husband. For over five years, she has worked buying and selling seafood. She is a traveling salesperson and makes her sales throughout the different towns in her region. She has many customers who always wait for her to consume her products such as crabs, white and red fish, and curiles (a type of mollusk). She is known for being a fighter because with her earnings, she was able to build her home. She is also know for being a very kind woman with a dream of continuing to improve her income. She lives in the town of Campamento Nacaome Valle in southern Honduras.

Sofia is seeking 11,000 Lempira to purchase jaiba, white and red fish, and curiles (a type of mollusk). With the support of this loan, she hopes to continue investing in her business and improving her income. Her dream is to invest more into her business and continue to generate greater earnings.
