Rameswari's story

Rameswari is a 24-year-old divorced lady who lives with her parents and her one daughter in a small village of Koraput district of Odisha state, India. She has taken a divorce for her personal reasons. Rameswari is engaged in tailoring activity. Her father is a farmer engaged in paddy and vegetable cultivation, and he helps her to purchases materials of tailoring like threads and cloth from the market. Rameswari earns 3,000 INR per month from this activity and she is the only regular earning person of her family. She wants to open a tailoring training center so that she can earn more to better support her family. Rameswari has applied for a loan amount of 20,000 INR to purchase a new sewing machine, threads and other necessary items for tailoring. She hopes to build a house for her family and wants to educate her daughter. She is very happy and thankful to Kiva for this kind help and support.
