A loan of $3,925 helped a member to replenish her shop with popular products.

Manyara Grp Group's story

Caren, who is a vice-chair of Manyara group, is in her late 50s and has six grown children. She is married. Caren is supporting her family's welfare by managing a general store selling a variety of items (rice, baking flour, maize flour, sugar, cooking oil, airtime, soaps, etc). She has been in this enterprise for three years now and is able to make a small profit each month.

This is her second loan request through Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan, which she has paid back successfully, to restock her shop with more inventories. Caren earned a profit, which she used to pay for her welfare. She dreams of building a house for orphan kids. As a mother, Caren is so in-touch to help street children who don't have a chance to win their dreams. Caren will use her credit request to replenish her shop with popular products.

She will share this loan with her loan group "MANYARA GRP", which has three members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.

In this group: Caren, Mary, Regina
