A loan of $800 helped a member to buy flour and firewood for their business.

Gs Brisas Del Rio 1 Group's story

Darcis is an honest, responsible person. She lives with her children in the south of Honduras. Her business is making and selling tortillas.

Darcis needs the loan to buy flour and firewood. With this loan, she hopes to increase sales as she will have more primary ingredients in this high season with which to provide for customers who visit, and thus cover her necessities. She also wants to improve her quality of life, and she sees that possibility with this loan.

Darcis hopes that in a few years, her business will be positioned as the biggest and best-known tortillería in the town, and to be able to continue supporting her children so that they become good people in society.

Emerita's business is a a grocery store and making and selling baleadas [wheat flour tortillas].

Rosa has been in business selling tortillas for 3 years.
