Tupendane A Group's story

Sauda is a mother in her mid-thirties and has two sons who are at school. She is married and supports her family living by managing a business selling medicine (pharmacy). Sauda has been in this business for four years. Before she started it, she was employed as a nurse and pharmacist in someone's hospital. She steadily struggled for a long time and now manages her own business. Sauda's ambition is to be a greatly successful businesswoman. She works from 8 am to 9 pm per working day and is able to make a fair monthly profit. She is requesting her fourteenth loan through Tujijenge Tanzania. With her previous loans, all of which paid were back successfully, she rented a nice business room, paid for six months of electricity and rent charges, and grew her business capital. Sauda received a profit which she used to plow back into her business to expand it. She will use this loan to replenish her business with more inventory. She really appreciates Kiva for their support. She will share this loan with her loan group "Tupendane A" which totals four members. Together, the group members will hold each other accountable for repaying back the loan.
