A loan of $525 helped to buy a new rickshaw for her husband.

Rukhsana's story

Rukhsana’s husband has been driving an auto rickshaw and pays a daily rental fee because this rickshaw does not belong to him. He belongs to an ultra poor family and has been able to feed his children. His children are growing older and they have many needs. He worries about how to abstain meet the daily needs and has decided to buy his own rickshaw.

She has saved to buy a new auto rickshaw for her husband but she has not been able to save enough. Therefore, Rukhsana requests a loan for her husband so that he can buy a new rickshaw. She hopes that he does not have to rent the rickshaw .

Rukhsana hopes that her husband would earn more income because he will be paying the daily rent. She is very happy with this loan and thanks Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
