Khom lives in the Borey Chulsa district of Takeo province. She is 55 years old, married and has a 14-year-old daughter who attends school. Her family living depends on her paddy rice farm, and her husband also works as a paid worker to earn additional income for the family.
She has completed 2 loans with VisionFund which have helped her to improve her standard of living. She is now requesting her third loan from VisionFund to cover expenses on her paddy rice farm such as fertilizer and seed purchases. She hopes that the income will help her to expand her business.
