A loan of $5,250 helped to pay for his studies in electronics and industrial automation.

Braulio's story

Braulio lives in Lima. He is studying to become a technician in electronics and industrial automation. His mother works as a housewife and his father is a street vendor, who despite his age is the one who sustains the family economically.

Some weekends, Braulio works as a waiter in special events such as baptism ceremonies or weddings in order to help his parents with the home expenses. His parents love him and think that he is a very good son. However, their expenses are greater than their income, so he will have to quit studying in order to get a full-time job unless he gets support from Kiva lenders.

Braulio wants to finish his studies and work for a good company so that he can help his family and take some weight off his father’s shoulders, because he is old and deserves to rest. He really appreciates all the help Kiva lenders give him to continue with his studies and achieve his goals. He is sure that such a nice gesture will soon be rewarded with graces and blessings.
