Nelida's story

Nelida is 33 years old, finished high school, is married, is mother of a daughter, lives in Jr. Pasco Nº 107 of the Ilave district, province of El Collao, Puno and is a founding member of the San Miguel Communal Bank in Ilave.

With the loan obtained of S/. 300 she bought essential household products (groceries) for her store. Later she changed her business to the purchase and sale of motorcycles with her husband.

Currently she works with crafts and she also continues with the motorcycle business. In addition to that she does embroidery and stamp projects in banners, etc.

With this loan of S/.1,000, which will be paid off in 3 installments, will be invested to purchase material to make gloves, shawls, hats and miniatures to export abroad.

“The loans that you provide favor us more as in other financial entities that ask for collateral and her word is worth more”.

Her dream is to become independent and have more contacts to be able to export her merchandise abroad.
