Samson is a member of the Kanyange Group and lives in Bubanza. He is 38 years old and married to Clairia, a vegetable grower. Together they have six children, aged between ten and thirteen years old. Two of their children currently attend school. Samson is also responsible for his two brothers-in-law.

Samson has been selling fruit (mangoes, oranges, etc) for fifteen years. This will be his second loan with the field partner, Turame. He plans to use his loan to increase his working capital and buy a large quantity of fruit (mangoes, oranges, etc) for resale. In this way, he hopes to increase his profits.

In the coming years, Samson would like to build a good house, buy a car and see his children study.
