A loan of $1,575 helped to buy pigs to continue with his production.

Diego Alejandro's story

Diego, who is 23, lives alone and has an impressive capacity for work.

He produces and sells pigs that he raises and fattens. He learned this work from working for the greater part of his life on the farms of some friends. There he acquired vast experience in the field, and for this reason he decided to begin his own business.

He alternates this work with collecting scrap metal and recyclable items. With these two activities, he obtains the necessary income for his own sustenance and to support the expenses of his household.

He is applying for assistance to buy a few piglets and capitalize his business a little. This will allow him to keep his business afloat and to always have animals for sale.
