A loan helped to purchase more clothes for resale.

Mughal Masih's story

Mughal Masih is a very hard-working and active borrower with Kiva's partner, BRAC Pakistan. He is 46 years old and lives in Lahore, Pakistan, with his family. His family includes a decent and responsible housewife, four sons, and three daughters. He owns a small clothing shop, in which he sells old and used clothes. He collects used clothes from different areas, and makes differently-designed, useful items for selling, such as ladies' dresses, curtains, and pillow covers. He has been running this business for ten years and cherishing his whole family. He speaks with monotonous tone, which is impressive, and he easily wins the trust of others. Due to his behavior and tone, he has built up very good relationships with his customers. Due to good relationships, his sales have increased a lot, but he does not have sufficient stock to cope with the demand.

With the increase in demand he considers it necessary to grow the business. But the lack of capital is the major problem for him. Therefore, Mughal Masih took a loan for his business. With the help of this loan, he will purchase more clothes for his business. Mughal Masih thanks Kiva and the field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
