A loan of $800 helped to buy agricultural supplies and clean her plantings of coffee, corn, and beans.

Dalmira's story

Dalmira is 36 years old. She is a very hard-working woman who pursues the domestic duties in her home and also works in commerce, since two years ago she set up a little grocery store in her home, which her children help her to manage. She has three children, who are in different grades of primary school and live at home. Along with her partner, she also grows corn and beans, as well as coffee, an activity that they developed many years ago and which she learned along with him. The land that they cultivate together is their own, acquired with much effort and sacrifice over a number of years. She completed primary school education with much effort and sacrifice, thanks to the moral and financial support of her parents.

Like all coffee growers, her plans for the future are to expand her property and plant a better variety of coffee, which will allow her to grow in her business and with her family. For her children, she wants to advance with her two businesses and support them in their studies, since that is the best inheritance that she can offer to each one of them. She is applying for financing to purchase agricultural supplies that she will apply to her crops of corn, beans, and coffee in order to prevent the deterioration of the grains. A part of this same financing will clean her coffee planting, which she hopes will have excellent results at the end of this year.
