Ma. Corazon's story

This is Ma. Corazon, 42, resident of Tanza, Cavite, Philippines. She is married to Luisito, a teacher, and has children. She, together with her husband and children, manages their household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses. Ma. Corazon operates a food processing business. She has a factory a few steps from her house where they manufacture the meat products. She earns by selling her goods to her neighbors and to suppliers. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of 400 PHP in sales every day. To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a 10,000 PHP loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy additional processed and frozen meat products to expand her product inventory. Ma. Corazon hopes to have more customers and dreams that her family is always in good health. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God he studies. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
