Golapa is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. Golapa was born in the Nayagarh district of Odisha, India 44 years ago. The lady standing with her hand raised is Golapa. She is married and the couple has two children who are attending school. For seven years now, Golapa has been selling rice, cooking oil, lentils, spices, onions, and packaged food items like biscuits, cake etc. in her grocery shop. Golapa, along with her group members, has applied for a loan of 250,000 INR. With the help of this loan, they will be able to expand their businesses, make more sales and consequently improve their living conditions. Golapa will use her share of the loan to expand her business. She will buy biscuits, chocolate, lentils, rice, wafers, detergent, salt, pepper, shampoo, toothbrushes, tooth paste, etc. at wholesale to add to her current stock.

The other nine members of this group are involved in different activities like animal raising, vegetable selling, milk selling etc. and all are happy with this loan.
