Juntas Venceremos Group's story

The communal bank is comprised of three energetic members. Namilet, age 33, coordinates the group. She is in a relationship, and she has two children, ages 10 and 12. It is for them that she has improved herself in order to give them a better quality of life.

She has been selling fast food in the health center in her area for eight years. Through the loans she has managed to put into place a business of selling clothes and perfume. She is requesting the loan to buy instant noodles, cooking oil, rice, cabbage, bread, tomato sauce, and cream, etc. However, she will also buy t-shirts, blouses, work clothes, athletic clothing, and underwear.

The member’s other achievements are improving her house and maintaining her hot dog cart. The most important thing is the opportunity to work at her house in order to care for her children.

Milagros, age 30, who sells clothes and sandals in an itinerant manner in her community, is also a member. The other member, Wilfredo, age 54, sells soft drinks and fruit from his home.

In this group: Namilet , Milagros Del Carmen , Wilfredo Antonio
