Lilian Rosario's story

Lilian is a very hardworking and responsible person who lives with her 4 children in the neighborhood of El Centro, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortes. She has lived there for more than 25 years. Her income comes from her business selling candy and groceries and she has been doing this for more than a year. Lilian has had businesses in the community of Santa Cruz de Yojoa for more than 25 years so she is very well known and respected by the people that she knows in the community. At the time of our visit, she told us that she has a very good base of customers as she is someone who worries about how her business is presented so it is very well ordered and impeccable.
She is requesting a loan to buy more products for her business such as churros, candy, cookies, sugar, salt, meat, dairy products, staple grains, and other everyday items as she has many customers and she wants to keep a variety and good quantity of products. Also, the local country fair is about to start so she hopes to have very good sales over the coming days.
She hopes that, with this loan, she will be able to buy a variety of products to satisfy the many needs of her customers and that this will improve her income.
She hopes that her business will keep growing and she can keep working with loans in the future so that she can supply more people. Her dream is to help her children to get a good education do that they can be honest and hardworking people.
