Tuoi's Group's story

Tuoi is a 46-year-old married woman. She lives with her two daughters and husband in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband earns money as a carpenter. For 10 years, Tuoi has been running a business selling pork meat for people in her community.

She is the group leader of a five-member loan group. The members live in Ho Chi Minh City. In the picture, she is sitting in the center wearing a flowered shirt. The other group members are requesting loans to fund income-generating activities.

Tuoi would like a loan to purchase better quality pork meat at a competitive price to sell to her customers. She hopes this will enable her to better meet the needs of her customers and attract additional customers.

She also hopes that through her loan she will be able to increase her income and save money for any future difficulties facing her family.
