A loan of $3,700 helped to buy supplies for application to his coffee crops.

Donald's story

Donald is a small coffee grower who lives in a productive area of Nicaragua. He lives with his wife and four children, all of whom study at a school in their community. This cheerful and charismatic man has been producing coffee for more than 20 years, which he now does with Fair Trade certification.

For this cycle he needs a loan so he can buy supplies that are necessary for proper maintenance of his coffee fields. He is confident that the loan will ensure a good harvest and consequently, better income for his family. His dream is to leave his children a promising future, and he is sure that coffee is an area with great potential to realize his dream.
